Come to the official opening of the WAVE, the new building of BIS|Econocom Belux

We are happy to show you around in our brand new office in Mechelen on 19th September. The new BIS|Econocom building is a beautiful showcase of activity-based housing in practice.

Flexibility and interaction

Our colleagues have worked hard to arrange the new premises in Mechelen like a real BIS|Econocom 'home'. And it paid off! We can work at any workplace in the building and we have very nice rooms for consultation, brainstorming and meetings. But it is also possible to work on a project or make a number of phone calls in peace and quiet. The new accommodation provides us flexibility and interaction in a beautifully designed environment.

No technical manuals required

All rooms look beautiful and are comfortably furnished by our interior architect. So the picture fits perfectly. The available audio-visual & IT technology, such as videoconferencing, collaboration, LCD touchscreens, wireless presentation possibilities, etc. work intuitively and can be used without technical support. All implemented solutions contribute to more efficient working, for the benefit of our employees.

Managed AV & As-a-service

Our solutions are now accessible to everyone thanks to alternative forms of financing (AV-as-a-service) that bring the use of state-of-the-art technology closer. It was also time to integrate software-based managed AV into the building. To put it simply, managed AV means that we integrate and manage all connectors of the audio-visual equipment (regardless brand or location) in a standard network using a brand-independent software platform.

Successful transformation

The available facilities in a pleasant environment ensure that cooperation by people from different teams is brought to a higher level. No one is limited to a particular workplace. E-mail traffic is decreasing and spontaneously beautiful ideas are generated. As a result, the relocation of our traditional office to this activity-based accommodation has already been more than successful after three months.
